InSinkErator F-201 Water Filter Class Action Settlement

If you are having problems with your Zurn Pex plumbing, then you are not alone. If you've experienced any leaking, flooding, low water pressure or other problems with your PEX piping then you might be entitled to some reward. According to the lawsuit, Zurn sold defective F1807 pipe fittings and connectors that were prematurely breaking down which caused leaks and other problems that then resulted in damages. The defendants claim that the warranty should cover the repair cost for the damages resulting from these faulty pieces. Zurn has denited any wrongdoing but but has agreed to a $20 million class action lawsuit settlement.

Electrolux Dryer Class Action Settlement

If you purchased certain models of clothing dryers from Electrolux, which includes a variety of brands such as Kenmore, Frigidaire, and Gibson, in the United States between January 1, 2002 and December 31, 2011 then you might be entitled to some benefits. According to the lawsuit, various models were designed in a way that allowed lint to accumulate near the heat sources, which caused thousands of fires. These fires were then alleged to be made more dangerous due to flammable plastic parts used in the dryers. Electrolux has denied any wrongdoing but has agreed to settle in order to avoid further expenses due to litigation.

GAF Timberline Shingles Class Action Settlement

If you own a property with GAF Timberline roofing shingles made between 1998 and 2009, then you may be eligible to receive free replacement shingles or a cash payment from the settlement. Allegedly, the shingles were prone to premature cracking, splitting, or tearing caused as a result of defective materials. Although GAF Materials Corp. denies the allegations, the company has decided to settle outside of court.. The benefits you may be eligible to receive are based on: (1) the location of your property, (2) where your Shingles were made, (3) the date your Shingles were installed and the date on which you make a claim, (4) the type and extent of damage to your Shingles, and (5) the size of your roof.
